Welcome to the blog of Malu Boutiques, handmade party decor. I am Maylene and I work with my mom, Lourdes (thus the name: Malu.) We work together in making party favors and little trinkets. Ever since I was a child I've enjoyed doing ANYTHING crafty with my mom.

I am a single mom and have 2 children, my son who will be 10 in July and my daughter who will turn 4 in March. I also work full time in an OB/Gyn office. I'm an obsessive scrapbooker and my mom and I both LOVE to throw posh parties and make beautiful party favors for family, friends and fans. Inspirational Wednesday!

Let me just say they are so many talented people out there. I'm wowed at all the pictures out there of events, cakes, paper goods. Everything is just so inspiring. Especially after reading all the blogs it gets you going and wanting to create anything.

I am a HUGE cake fan. I love looking at all different types, but when I saw this one I was floored. This photo shoot alone was such an inspiration. I'm currently working on a Coco Chanel Baby Shower these pictures got my engines going on FAST mode.

Even look at this table set up. I LOVE the Flowers in the background. I might use this one day.
